FOLLOW UP: AUDI THREATENED WITH MORE FINES
Audi has until 26 September to retrofit some V6 and V8 diesel models to bring them in line with requirements in Germany, or risk facing fines and the cars being declared illegal. SAUDI OIL ATTACKS CAUSE PRICE WORRY
Following the attack on Saudi Arabian oil facilities, over the weekend, there was justifiable concern that this would impact on oil and therefore fuel, prices. This appears to be born out at prices did have the biggest jump in 30 years. However, the prices dropped again on the day of recording as production is expected to return to normal quickly. US WANTS DRIVERS TO SELECT OWN NOISE FOR SILENT CARS

Another rally another unpredictable wreck-fest, this time for tyres! Nearly everyone was affected by punctures, with the sharp rocks proving too much for most on the first day. Ogier eventually won with team mate Lappi second and Mikkelsen in third for Hyundai. Tanak scrambled to secure some points after retiring on Saturday.
