FOLLOW UP: POLICE TO CHECK DRIVER’S EYESIGHTS

Police in Thames Valley, Hampshire and the West Midlands will require drivers to undertake a roadside eyesight test, in line with the Highway Code, during September. To read more click the Guardian article here.

FOLLOW UP: VW STRUGGLING WITH WLTP CERTIFICATION

ASTON MARTIN TO LIST ON LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE

DYSON ANNOUNCES TEST TRACK LOCATION

PRIVATE PLATED CAR MORE TEMPTING TO THIEVES

According to MoneySupermarket, if you have a private plate on your car it is up to 50% more likely to be stolen. To read more click the Motoring Research article here.

TRAVELLING OUTSIDE OF RUSH HOUR CAN SAVE TIME

Research, from Highways England, has stated that starting and finishing work an hour later can save an hour a week on the road. This does beg the question why more businesses don’t consider flexible starting times. Not a solution for all businesses nor people, but could help many. Autocar has undertaken research into the current market for new vehicles, to see why there has been a slump in purchases.
