FOLLOW UP: PORSCHE TO STOP MAKING DIESEL CARS
Porsche will now stop selling cars with diesel engines for good. They had dropped them in February 2018. Porsche insisted they were not demonising diesel, merely focusing on electric, hybrid and petrol engines. To read more click the Motoring Research article here.
FOLLOW UP: FRANKFURT DIESEL BAN CHALLENGED
The ban, brought about following a legal case instigated by environmental groups, has been challenged. By the regional government. The appeal by the Hesse state government states that other measures they will be implementing will achieve the same as the ban, therefore they do not need to enforce it.
