FOLLOW UP: AUDI CEO IN CUSTODY

On Monday, Rupert Stadler, was taken into custody over fears he would tamper would evidence about his involvement in the #Dieselgate scandal. He has been placed on leave by the Group Board, and replaced by Bram Schot who is the Director of Sales and Marketing for VW Commercial Vehicles. To read more click on the Autocar link here.

VAUXHALL DROPS ZAFIRA AND GTC

Vauxhall has announced that they will no longer be offering the Zafira and GTC due to the 'rise of SUVs'. This means that they will not have a 7-seat option in their range. To read more, click on the Autocar link here

JLR OFFERING SUBSCRIPTIONS IN UK

Jaguar Land Rover is going to offer a subscription service for their range. This will be based over 12 months, unlimited mileage (with a limit that no one knows) and can include everything bar fuel. LE MANS 24HR 2018

Congratulations to Toyota for winning the overall race, coming in first and second with cars No. 8 and No.7. As this excellent Speedhunters article expands on, this wasn't a given, nor easy and could have led to massive amounts of egg on face if they had not finished. As ever the race engendered massive amounts of desire for the podcast to attend and experience the pinnacle of the racing calendar. ROADWORK PERMITS
