On this week's show, the chaps have to address quite a bit of Follow Up, as everyone seems to be returning to old news rather than creating new! As ever, though, our old friend #Dieselgate starts us off.

FOLLOW UP: US CHARGES EX-VW BOSS WINTERKORN

US prosecutors have charged Martin Winterkorn, the former Volkswagen CEO, with misleading regulators over #Dieselgate. To read more click the BBC News article here.

Surprisingly, the current CEO, Herbert Diess, travelled to the United States last week to testify, following the granting of a safe-passage deal. He is reported to have had conversations with the Department of Justice and FBI.  To read more click the Reuters article here.

FOLLOW UP: YET MORE SOFTWARE WOE FOR AUDI

Audi is being brought for a formal hearing with the German transport hearing after declaring there is now a software issue with some A6 and A7 engines. To read more click the BBC News article here.

FOLLOW UP: UBER CRASH MAY BE DUE TO SOFTWARE

Uber has released information indicating that the fatal accident appears to have been caused by a software setting that was such so certain spotted items were deemed to require action by the vehicle. FOLLOW UP: VAUXHALL ZAFIRA FIRES FACE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has launched a criminal investigation into the Vauxhall Zafira fires. Vauxhall is complying with the investigation. To read more click the BBC News article here.
