Carlos Ghosn, Chairman of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, has been arrested in Japan, following claims he and Greg Kelly (HR Director) have been involved in “significants acts of misconduct”. Reports claim that Ghosn has underreported his salary to the tune of £34 million over five years, as one example of the “numerous” acts. To read more click on the Autocar article here. MICHELIN TO CLOSE DUNDEE PLANT
Michelin has announced they will close their Dundee factory in mid-2020. They have decided that the factory is “unsuitable” in the current climate. To read more click the BBC News article here.
AMAZON PRIME TEST DRIVES FOR ALFA ROMEO
Amazon Prime members can, for a short while, organise a test drive of the Stelvio, if they live in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. £57 MILLION SPENT ON FAILED DRIVING TESTS
Around 54% of people failed their driving test last year, according to data from The AA Driving School. Some clever maths has been undertaken (not by us!) and that equates to roughly £57 million in test fees. To read more click the Motoring Research article here.

WRC AUSTRALIA RESULTS
Ogier has won his sixth World Rally Championship title. Tanak and Neuville crashed, handing the title to Ogier, with Jari-Matti Latvala winning the event. The results of the weekend also mean that Toyota Gazoo Racing claimed the manufacturers title. To read more click the Autosport article here.
FORMULA E: TESTING IN SAUDI ARABIA
Following the upcoming Ad Diriyah race Formula E will be staying a bit longer so that testing can be undertaken by the teams. Extra slots will be handed to the teams that use a female driver, as well as the regular drivers. The race promoter has requested this be organised.
