In an amazing move, the response to the public consultation has been listened to, new car's first MOTs will continue to occur in the third year. LAND ROVER CUTTING PRODUCTION

In a move, which LandRover blames on Brexit and diesel uncertainties, they will be reducing production in the Halewood plant of Evoques and Discovery Sports. At this stage, no job losses are part of this move. To read more click the Autocar article here

NEW LONDON TAXI HELD UP BY METER

The new London Taxi is not being deployed whilst a glitch in the meter is sorted. False readings have been showing up. This is not expected to be a significant delay. To read more click the Motor1UK article here

FORD TO FIX SMOKEY FOCUS RS

Some 2016-17 Ford Focus RS's can develop a fault where watertight seals warp and allow coolant where it shouldn't be. Ford is fixing this issue, for free. To read more click the EVO article here.

FORMULA E FINISHES AFTER NEW YORK THIS YEAR

Formula E has given up on finding a replacement for the Montreal double-header. Instead, the series will finish after New York. So, bad news for all of us who dreamed of the Bull Ring vista in the background. To read more click the Autosport article here.

WRC IS BACK

The start of the new season of WRC begins this weekend, at the iconic Monte Carlo Rally. There has been some shuffling of drivers for this year, but the cars continue to look crazy and fantastic. TRAPPED CARS FOUND IN ROBOT PARKING LOT
